You’re scared of being alone
A relationship shouldn’t compensate for your lack of self love. Instead it should be the cherry on top. We’ll admit that having someone to snuggle up with at night is first prize but you should always be ready to deal with anything life might throw at you with ease.
For the sex
It’s quite common to hear, ‘if it wasn’t for the sex I would have left him long ago’. This is by far one of the worst reasons to stay in a relationship because well, gurl you know you could have way better sex by yourself. Plus, you don’t always have to be in a committed relationships to have a robust sex life.
Social media over load
We know new love is exciting and sometimes you can’t help but show off a little and that’s okay. However, if you start doing it just to prove a point to someone, an ex maybe, then it becomes a problem. If your current man makes you as happy as you claim, people will see it without you having to say it out loud.
For validation
There’s nothing as sexy as a confident woman who doesn’t seek any validation from anyone especially a man. Your man should definitely give you compliments for one reason only, and that’s because it’s nice to hear, nothing more.
For the number of years
This is probably the number one reason why most couples decide to stick it through regardless of how bad things are. People fall out of love all the time, you’re not the only one and it’s totally okay. Sure, this might shock your friends and family, but rest assured, they’ll get used to it and move on.
Feeling sorry for him
So this one guy has been chasing you around for as long as you can remember and you thought ‘why not give him a chance? Bad move. Getting into a relationship because you pity someone is not a good idea, and will most certainly not end well. It’s either you’ll end up miserable or your partner will hate you for the rest of his life should he find out. – W24
