French club Le Havre sign Zimbabwean forward Tino Kadewere

Le Havre AC have complete the signing of Zimbabwean striker Tino Kadewere from Swedish club Djurgardens IF.

The 22-year-old striker has signed a 4-year contract at his new club, moving to Ligue 2 after three years with the Swedish First Division side, where he scored 13 goals in 43 appearances.

Kadewere recently encountered the misfortune of suffering ligament damage to his knee in a friendly encounter at the start of July, played the week before the resumption of the Swedish Allsvenskan season, ruling the forward out of action for up to 10 weeks.

A Le Havre club statement acknowledged the necessary lengthy discussions the club had in relation to the signing: “After long negotiations with the Swedish club, the President of the HAC has decided to invest a significant amount of money to ensure the services of this player who, in the rehabilitation phase, will be fully operational by mid-October.”
