American singer Rihanna is shining bright like a diamond and beaming with happiness, and many think it is due to an expensive jewel that she was recently spotted wearing.
On Thursday, 7 December, she shared her photo on Instagram, and fans couldn’t help but notice the huge diamond ring on her ring finger. Her latest post has left her fans confused about her relationship status.
The photo was taken while she was leaving Chris Rock’s Madison Square Garden show in New York City on 6 December (Wednesday) where the Fenty Beauty makeup product entrepreneur was spotted wearing a giant sparkling rock on her left hand. To complement the ring, RiRi wore an oversized blue overcoat with multicolor patchwork and large earrings.
The singer is said to be dating Saudi billionaire Hassan Jameel since July 2017 and many assume the ring is an indication that the duo has taken their relationship to the next level by getting engaged.
“Rihanna’s engaged? Heh, no problem. Just means I gotta get engaged too,” one of her fans reacted.
“If Rihanna got secretly engaged I will scream,” added the second one. Another fan assumed the Wilde Thoughts singer will become a Saudi royal if she gets engaged to Jameel. “Rihanna is engaged? I can’t wait for her to be the kween of Saudi Arabia,” the fan tweeted.
However, one of her fans did a detailed assessment about the diamond ring and came up with a conclusion that she may not be engaged after all. “The ring isn’t an engagement ring at all on Doyle’s website. It’s also under $40,000. That is candy money to Rihanna. I expect a ring from him to be worth more,” the Twitter user claimed.

While another fan too refused to go by the common speculation and said: “Y’all say Rihanna is engaged literally every 2 weeks. acting like she’s never worn a ring on that finger a million times before.”
The couple has been spotted together numerous times since July 2017, sparking dating rumours but have never officially confirmed their relationship. In November, the couple celebrated Christmas dressing up as Star Wars character and were reportedly “canoodling all night”. “Rihanna was dressed as Kylo Ren from Star Wars and Hassan was dressed as a penguin.
