ZSE opens week lower on profit taking

HARARE,– The Zimbabwe Stock Exchange mainstream index eased 2,15 percent to close at 365,93 points on Monday as after profit-taking dominated trades in four heavyweight counters.

The mining index however remained flat at 126,86 points.

ZSE market capitalisation closed at $10,4 billion while market turnover amounted to $715,615 in the day.

Beverage maker Delta eased 7,37 percent to settle at 180,14 cents while Simbisa eased 12,37 percent to settle at 42 cents.

OK Zimbabwe and Old Mutual also shed 0,82 percent and 0,22 percent to close at 21,85 cents and 597,86 cents respectively.

Foreigners bought shares worth $656,395 and disposed of shares worth $385,553.

On the resource space, RioZim, Hwange and Falgold remained unchanged at 119,99 cents, 3,8 cents and 2,2 cents respectively.
