HARARE,– The Zimbabwe Stock Exchange eased 1,4 percent to settle at 318,43 points on Wednesday marking the third consecutive day of losses on the local bourse.
Turnover stood at $14,58 million while market capitalisation closed at $9,17 billion.
The biggest loser was Seedco shedding 12,5 to trade at 175 cents
Financial services group, Old Mutual, dropped 11,05 percent to close at 4,546.1 cents while Barclays lost 8,33 percent to settle at 5,5 cents.
Mobile operator, Econet, lost 1,79 percent to 86 cents. British American Tobacco marginally lost a percent to settle at 3,570.05 cents.
OK Zimbabwe was the only mover gaining 5,26 percent to trade at 20 cents.
The mining index closed at 141,47 points after losing 0,1 percent.
Bindura lost 0,002 cents to settle at 5,40 cents. Falgold, Hwange and RioZim remained unshaken at 3,80 cents, 2,20 cents and $1,20 respectively.
Foreigners bought shares worth $77,777 compared to sales of $32,609. – The Source
