Spend time with family

As great as it would be to spend the holidays with a partner, family is just as important. We know how tough it can be to always stay in the loop when your family lives away from you. Use this time to catch up with everyone you haven’t seen in a while. You’ll be surprised at how much fun you’ll have, forgetting that you’re single.

Avoid romantic movies

The one thing that kills time during the holidays is TV and usually romantic movies is all that’s been aired. Do yourself a favour and avoid watching these unless you want to go on an emotional roller coaster.

Buy yourself a gift

Because you’re single, you won’t have to wonder whether your partner is going to get you a gift or not. More reason to spoil yourself. Get that handbag or pair of shoes you’ve been eyeing for the longest time, you deserve it.

Enjoy the festivities

This time of the year isn’t the time to be sad. Just because you’re single doesn’t mean you shouldn’t join in on the festivities. Dress up and meet up with other people in celebration mode.  Your current single status won’t remain the same forever. Who knows? You might meet your Mr right during this happy season.

Do anything you want
