HIGH Court judge Justice David Mangota has dismissed the Nelson Chamisa-led MDC Alliance’s two applications to recover possession of the Harvest House building, also known as Morgan Richard Tsvangirai House.

MDC-T youths aligned to rival opposition leader Thokozani Khupe seized Harvest House several weeks ago in what MDC-T Secretary-General Douglas Mwonzora described as “smooth handover takeover” of the iconic building which has become the citadel of opposition politics in Zimbabwe.

The building has been the opposition party’s headquarters since its formation in 1999 under the leadership of Morgan Tsvangirai.

It has been under the MDC Alliance’s control since 2018.
