Trustees of the organization that owns MDC Headquaters Morgan Richard Tsvangirai House have instituted proceedings towards evicting MDC-T leader Thokozani Khupe from occupying the premises.

Chamisa’s sidekick Pedzisai Ruhanya posted on Twitter that, “Owners of Harvest House, Trustees on Sunday filed an application at High Court to have Mwonzora team removed from their building after military handed it over to them. They argue these people are intruders who have forcibly taken private property. Waiting for a hearing date.”

Ruhanya said the hostile takeover of premises using the state apparatus was unprecedented and trampled on property rights.

“A national army of a republic cannot be used in partisan ways where it gets involved into opposition politics like it did last Thursday evening in Harare where it was enlisted to help Mudzuri, Khupe, Mwonzora and Komichi to forcefully take over private property. This is dangerous.

“There is no constitutional democracy anywhere on earth where there is no respect for private property; where security forces storm opposition rented private property and hands it over to regime surrogates. Mugabe never acted this shallow.

There are clever ways of abusing power and security organs of the state; not in these brazen ways we are witnessing post Nov 2017 coup.”
