EU sanctions against Mugabe to remain until power-sharing cabinet in place

Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe has yet to reach a deal with opposition
rivals on forming a Cabinet.
British Foreign Secretary David Miliband says that optimism following the
initial power-sharing deal is "fast evaporating."
Miliband says in a statement released Monday that EU sanctions will not be
lifted until Mugabe and the opposition agree on a new administration. He says he
will discuss the issue with other EU foreign ministers next week.
The EU imposed a travel ban and assets freeze on Mugabe and 171 people and four
companies tied to his old regime.
