A few months after her debut on Kwese Sports, former model and TV presenter Vimbai Mutinhiri continues to break new ground in the world of broadcast media after she unveiled a new motivational video series.
The media personality recently launched the new series called Veelosophy, in which she shares her challenges, her failures and how she was able to succeed despite the odds that she has faced throughout her career.
The former Stargist host has already unveiled the first episode of the video series on social media and other online platforms.
On the debut episode titled “Destiny Shaper”, Vimbai reveals how a category for a Nama she was supposed to receive was cancelled because a key decision maker didn’t like the fact that she was supposed to win the award.
This was after the star also shared how she had departed Zimbabwe with almost nothing to her name, waving goodbye to the country of her birth with only a hope and a dream.
“I left my country with $200 in my pocket,” she said as part of the promotional trailer.
The first eight months of 2017 have been fruitful for the Zimbabwean model turned TV personality who earlier in the year entered the sports broadcasting fray as part of the Kwese Sports team.
At Kwese she hosts Hashtag, a show where sports fans are able to interact with her and other presenters on social media as they dissect the major sport events of the day.
In addition, she also hosts her own radio show called The Dish on a Nigerian station, Lagos Talks 91.3, while she also debuted a travel series which is shown on all South African Airways flights.
