MASHAVA- Former acting head for Temeraire Primary School in the mining village of Mashava, Prisca Mangwana (53) has died.
Nhamo Mangwana an uncle to the late Mangwana confirmed the sad news.
“She was found dead on Friday morning after her workmates enquired about her whereabouts as they wanted the keys that she had carried home and upon arrival at her homestead they found the gate and doors locked from inside and had to forcibly open the doors only to find her dead while holding her rosary in one hand,” said Nhamo Mangwana.
Mangwana was buried at Gokomere Cemetary on Monday where several educationists gathered to pay their last respects.
She joined Temeraire from Madamombe Primary in the 1990s and rose through the ranks to the position of acting head after Sheila Deve was transferred to Helen McGhie Primary in Masvingo in January this year.
Mangwana is survived by two children a boy and a girl.
