ZSE opens week in green
The Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE) mainstream/industrial index opened the week in the green after adding 3.09 points to close the day at 171.25 points.
The industrial index was spurred by gains recorded by the heavyweight counters.
Econet advanced US15 cents to US535 cents, while NatFoods rose US8 cents to US140 cents and Hippo gained US5 cents to settle at US130 cents.
Delta was US2,23 cents firmer at US11826 cents, Afre traded higher at US8 cents after gaining US1,50 cents, while Innscor added US1,11 cents to US83,11 cents.
Old Mutual inched up US1,10 cents to US175,10 cents, Afdis and PPC were a cent up at US15 cents and US211 cents respectively.
Edgars gained US0,50 cents to close at US9 cents.
On the downside, NTS slipped US0,30 cents to US2,70 cents.
NICOZ Diamond lost US0,11 cents to trade at US0,99 cents and Mash Hlds retreated US0,05 cents to trade at US2,40 cents.
The mining index also closed in the positive territory after gaining 1,45 points to close at 78,86 points.
Bindura added US0,30 cents to settle at US2,50 cents whilst Falgold, Hwange and RioZim were unchanged at the previous trading level.
